Spring Break Theatre Extravaganza

Monday–Friday, March 29–April 2, 9:00am–4:00pm, $240

Staying home for Spring Break? Need something fun to do? Come to SteppingStone Theatre for your favorite Create-a-Play classes. Final performances will be at SteppingStone Theatre at 4pm on the last day.

Once Upon a Kingdom: Ages 6-8

A SteppingStone favorite! Kings and Queens, wizards and riddles! Use your imagination to invent a kingdom in a land far, far away. Don’t let the adventure unfold without you.

Down the Rabbit Hole: Ages 9-12

Fall down the rabbit hole and have your very own adventure in Wonderland. Join in the Mad Hatter’s tea party or make your daring escape from the Queen of Hearts. You never know what you’ll encounter around the next corner.

Theatre for Twos and Threes

Thursdays, 11:00-11:50am for 8 weeks, $55 per session

Come to the theatre and play

Shimmy, shake, sing and play with your toddler in this interactive class for both caregiver and child. In this class we will explore age-appropriate themes through stories, music, games, and movement.

The class works on developing skills such as gross and fine motor skills, focus and socialization. Each session has a different theme, so sign up for one or more.

Bing! Bang! Boing!
Big sounds, little sounds, music sounds, truck sounds—sounds are all around! What happens if you pluck a violin or blow a horn? Use your body, voice and imagination to discover the wonderful world of sound.

Creative Dramatics

Saturdays April 10-May 8, 9:30-10:30am, $65

Imagination, socialization, and creativity soar in these classes designed
specifically for young children. Drama, music, and movement come
together to engage and inspire your child in weekly one-hour sessions.
What your child will gain:

• Expanded vocabulary
• Developed listening skills
• Body control practice

Wiggle & Jiggle--Class is now Full

Wiggle and jiggle, leap and spin! Explore characters, emotions and movement. Focus on rhythm, body control, flexibility, concentration and coordination.

Young students learn teamwork and build trust while exploring creativity and imagination through movement.

Theatre Round Robin (Ages 6-8)

Saturdays for 5 weeks, $145

Expand your theatre skills with the Spring Sampler. The five week session is set up like a round robin. The class will be split into four groups by age and each group will work with a different master teacher weekly on a different theatrical skill. By the end of the five week sampler, everyone will have tried their hand at each one.

The last 10 minutes of class each week is reserved for a presentation for family and friends.

Stretch your mind! Channel energy and creativity with fast-thinking and quick-moving improvisation.

Tech Theatre
Take a back stage tour, check out the light booth, and create a set model based on a classic tale.

Showtunes
Razzle dazzle ‘em with show-stoppers from Broadway’s best shows.

Magic
Learn how to perform amazing tricks with every day objects. Sure to wow your family and friends.

Hip Hop Dance
Groove to the rhythm as you learn the basic steps of this popular form of dance.

Triple Threat Intensive

Saturdays April 10-May 8, 12:00–3:00pm, $195--WAIT LIST ONLY

Brush up on your singing, acting, and dancing in this intensive workshop designed for students who want to sharpen their skills.

Work with a vocal coach, choreographer, and acting coach in small classes with ample one-on-one instruction. Perfect for those who are a bit intimidated by auditions or just want to feel more confident performing in school plays.
